Profile The 2-day workshop explores all areas of optimizing Dynamics NAV (Dynamics NAV) on SQL Server - planning the infrastructure, designing the application, troubleshooting hardware and software. It is based on real life experience from various optimization projects and focuses on the best practices of running Dynamics NAV on SQL Server. The theory will be supported by demos and hands-on exercises.
After completing the course, you will have an overall understanding of potential problems, have completed some application changes, and will be able to identify priorities and focus areas.This workshop is designed primarily for Dynamics NAV consultants who work on development and performance related projects using Dynamics NAV on SQL Server.

Part II – Infrastructure: - Planning HW - sizing, memory, disks, RAID, DAS/NAS/SAN, IDE/ATA/SCSI/FC, CPU, Network, etc SW - versions, settings, etc Hands on Exercises
- Maintenance Reindex, defrag, update stats, fill factors, etc.. Hands on Exercises
